To answer your question, Need ? ...Hell NoHawk Knives (G&G Hawk) just announced that it will be producing the "Shortcut" which is bascially a $475 boxcutter.
It is a very well designed $475 boxcutter but my $1 box cutters and $5/$8 utility knives will do me just fine. Thank-you.
I've been waiting for them to start making the MUDD again and now they're doing this? Frankly, I'm really disappointed.
But, if they're charging $1-2k for a Deadlock and $475 for this, I guess I'm not going to be able to afford (or want to pay for) a MUDD if they actually do start making them again.
This makes me regret trading away my MUDD for a BRS Alpha Beast all over again.
Oh well . . .![]()
I can't speak for "anyone " else's needs ...but for $475 , there's lots of other stuff more appealing to me personally .Hawk Knives (G&G Hawk) just announced that it will be producing the "Shortcut" which is bascially a $475 boxcutter.

Dude I put one of those through 3 years of construction work. It did the job nothing more. Then I upgraded to the utilizer 2.0. Love it, but has a few quirks. Now I'm eyeing the shortcut. Oh gosh!
Seriously. I would love to see them partner with someone for a less expensive production version. Its a nice design. The flipper, lock release, and the pocket clip are cool. I know the machining work to make it is probably high, but its past my budget.
Does that nail clipper come in a PM steel?I'll have to add this one to my box cutter collection. But only after I first add a new nail clipper to my nail clipper collection.
Yes!Does anyone have a $475 box that needs cutting?
D2. I like to punish my nails.Does that nail clipper come in a PM steel?
Ah, I can see it now. Your nail clippers are serrated and have the Punisher skull on it.D2. I like to punish my nails.
