Does anyone only use/collect one make of Knife?

Most of my collection is KAI. A box full of kershaws and a safe full of ZTs. Only a few other brands, a few Hinderers, PM2, Griptilians, buck 110s, sak.
I gravitated towards KAI because I like flippers. Also the quality is some of the best you can find in production IMO. These are easy to open, smooth (KVT) and legal, unlike switchblades here.

Since I started this money pit “hobby” in March I’ve broadened my horizons. I love well made Russian knives. I have a couple of Maniago Knife Makers knives that are well made.

All of the rest are USA made knives, some multiples of each.

I have nothing against Chinese knives, but haven’t seen anything from them that US makers haven’t really already done. I confess, I don’t necessarily look at them either.

My signature (while obnoxious) are knives I own. If a member has a question about one they can PM me and I’ll tell them my thoughts and impressions on them. A few have done this.

So no, I don’t horde only one maker.

I would say YOLO, but that’s technically incorrect. You live every day. You only die once. Enjoy.
