I have been wearing my REKAT Pikuni an awful lot since I got it and was wondering if anyone else carries a fixed blade daily.

Youre right. I should know better than to ask.

I am interested in which models people carry though.

My Livesay Woo Exec has been on my person every day since I got it back in July 2000. Barring the shower and the bed. It is with me all of the time. Good rugged user. On those occasions that it is not with me, there are others that take its place.

Dennis,

I need to rotate through my collection so that none of them feel overlooked for any length of time. I can go almost four weeks without wearing the same neck knife twice!

Nah, I don't have a problem.

If I had one of Jen Anso's Sheepfoot blades, I'd carry a fixed blade every day. That baby is sweet.

I carry 2 at work...... Mad Dog ATAK 2 and JSP Arch Angel 2.

They're AWESOME !

I carry a fixed blade everywhere but work. Here's what is in my current rotation: Dozier General Utility, Caffrey EBK, Lakota FinWing, Schrade Sharpfinger or Wolverine, Busse Lean Mean Street or Mean Street, Marbles Fieldcraft, Helle Harding, Marttiini Lapinleuku. That's the short list.

If I go small game hunting, I like to carry two fixed blades, one small, one large. Usually the Lean Mean Street or Dozier General Utility along with a Becker Companion or Magnum Camp. The Dozier Professional Guides Knife is a great intermediate, though.

D2 and Ironwood in a HZ belt sheath by H.Smith in Montana. Spends alot of time being used around the office and at home. Hardly even know it is on me...

SammyB, that's a sweet looking small fixed blade.

When I'm at work I carry a small neck knife by Pat Crawford. It's the bottom knife in the picture. I don't normally carry one other than at work but when I do it's usually a Lightfoot C-4 with IWB sheath.

I have a Nimvarus in M2 and Kydex sheath that I carry regularly. I always thought that a mini tanto by cold steel would be a good option especially with a Kydex sheath. If the sheath was designed properly this would be a very low profile fixed blade alternative to a folder.

Blues. You`re the man. God I love those neck knives. If I only had your collection. By the way it`s good to see you on the forums. Havn`t heard from you lately. Roger

I carry a Allen Blade steel MEUK in my backpack.

I havent carried a folder in years! I am currently carrying a Pikuni of my own make that is in D-2E that didnt turn out quite right. (I always use my own seconds!

Dennis, glad you are liking the Pikuni!

I'm custom knife challenged at the moment, but I do carry a fixed blade routinely ... the Fallkniven WM-1 in a carbon fiber pattern concealex sheath by Normark. That little VG-10 blade really takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. I'm patiently awaiting a similar sheath for my F-1.

Maybe someday I'll find a decent custom at a good price. Know anyone out there who makes a good one?

Dozier Arkansas Toothpick, RJ Martin Trek, but soon, a Simonich Kanji...well, sort of. I have the blank in A2, and will finish the best I can. With my ability to screw it up, it won't be a Kanji anymore, but it'll be mine!!!

Rob the Pikuni rocks! Absolutely the right size for urban carry. And best of all, don't have to worry about lock reliablity or lock strength.
