does anyone use a fixed blade for daily carry?

At this time I do not carry a fixed blade, but when I get my Mike Snody Kubikiri I will. This is a Japanese style knife with a 3 5/8" blade, which Mike recommended that I have made in BG42.

Keith.

Hartsfield Kozuka was the everyday for 2 years, but I decided to put it in the display case for a while and carry one of Murray Carter's neck knives (exactly like Blues picture, sharp is right) because he siad if you buy it, please use it. So, that's what I'm doing. (I follow instructions well)

There is a Dozier clipped to the base of my seatbelt and I carry a small Talonite Wharncliff made by Rob Simonich quite a bit.

carry MOD razorback, ralph design neck knife, and CRKT KISS - also several different folders - johtsingh khalsa, cold steel lg gunsite, and just got a Emerson CQB7 so will be trying it out too.........

REKAT Pikuni. Great design, Rob! I use this as my workhouse now. The D2 E cuts, and cuts, and cuts some more. Those who know me realize that my taste in fixed blades runs a "little" larger, but I love this knife to death!

Mike

I've carried small Japanese-style cord wraps for year. Still do, still will, but I'll tell you my new little fixed blade fave.

I'm wearing it right now. A Talonite Nighthawk by Rob Simonich. It's great for everyday cutting chores, and for out in public, when whipping out my large custom Crawford KFF just wouldn't exactly be cool.

I only carry my fixed blades occasionally. Either my Dozier Arkansas Toothpick in the Dozier IWB sheath, or a Benchmade Nimravus Cub in a River City "Drawpoint" IWB sheath. Both are sub-4" to stay legal.

Well, lately I haven't been carrying a fixed blade on a daily basis, mostly because I have a few new folders that I am enamored with, for the time being. But, when I carry, I generally rotate the following through:

  • Tim Scholl giraffe bone hunter
    Jones Brothers stag hunter
    Simonich Cetan tanto
    REKAT Pikuni
    Rinaldi Enigma
    Camillus Talon
    Griffith Sniper
    REKAT Utility Neck Knife
    Benchmade Nimravus Cub
    Spyderco Moran
    Steve45 tanto
    Griffith SUB Texan

Right now I regularly carry the REKAT Pikuni, Griffith Sniper, Jones Brothers stag hunter, and Camillus Talon.
