Does this look like a knife that is "Never carried or used"?

but a knife by definition is an instrument of cutting... therefore if it has never been used to cut anything, it technically has never been used either :).

And a car is for driving/transportation. So if you start it up 1000 times and run it for 100,000 hours it has never been used? The parts moving = use.

I have contacted the seller and attached this link and am now waiting for a response.

Jaiofspam, while I appreciate your input, it sounds like a chicken sh&t justification to accept being possibly/probably screwed over.

This^^^^^^^

Ceptor, that knife is "used" PERIOD! That's not even LNIB, I'd be Pi$$ed to say the least. I hate when people play word games to justify doing the wrong thing. You have every right to a full refund, including ALL shipping charges. JMHO.

You got burned man. Whoever sold you that knife has some bad juju coming his way. Liars are the lowest type of people so I wouldn't expect him to make it right. He clearly has no sense of right or wrong. If he make it right then great. If not, take this as a learning experience and do more research before pulling the trigger next time.

sure its been started 1000x... but its never been driven. lol, im just saying

btw, i work at a law office. word games make the world go round unfortunately.

the OP was burned, but was it intentional?... i hope not. lets give the seller the opportunity to make things right before forming a mob.

Jaiofspam, semantics aside. An omission of the truth, whether willful or accidental is a lie. It really is that simple. I hope that if you are an officer of the court that concept is something you practice.

The seller has contacted me and I'm currently waiting for a response.

an omission of truth isnt a lie, it could be construed that he failed to explicitly list the whole truth and you failed to physically examine/inspect the knife yourself or in this case further inquire... the result is as followed. for anyone who has ever purchased a home, im sure you can understand the following. hah, im no officer of the court and in all the years ive worked in law offices, ive yet to meet an honest lawyer lol. at any rate, im glad youve established an open line of communication with him. i hope it all works out in the end and both parties have learned something.

im not defending him or stating that youre in the wrong for receiving a knife that clearly has tons of shit in the axis area. having bought and sold many things from the the exchange as well as other forums and internet sites i just wanted to advise you as well as other members to thoroughly question what you plan on purchasing from zero feedback members here on out :).

edit: please update us on what the resolution is. good luck

here is the deal

when a trade or a buy both have to be happy with the deal or send it back.

i have been 99% good on all my trades,i have sent one back.

Bullsh!t! Willful omission of truth is deception and a lie. Accidental omission, no matter how unintentional is not deceptive but it is still a lie. It is called ethics and you have made it clear to all how you feel about it. Good luck to you in life.

Still waiting to hear back from the seller.

The two of you need to knock it off. If you'd like I can certainly move your posts to W&C, they might go there anyways.

The engine has been started but never driven anywhere. Zero mileage. Tires may still look new but the internal engine parts have been worn.

Just to update. The seller has provided an explanation for the condition of the knife and has provided a more than adequate remedy to the situation. This is closed and I would not hesitate to deal with him again.
