Does Your Leek Open-up in Your Pocket?

I also disable the locks on my Kershaw AOs. I EDC an AO or flipper and have been since they came out. I always carry in the right hand pocket tip down so the flipper is in the seam of my jeans. If I would bump something hard enough to open it (never have yet) then the spine of the blade would hit my hand when reaching in the pocket, not the edge. They are always clipped, never carried loose. They are also in a pocket that is not frequently used. I remove the knife if needed instead of reaching past it. Left hand carry is 50/50 tip up/down depending on the knife, but in a back pocket. I have never had any Kershaw AO open in my pocket. I have had AO razor knives (Meyerco) open up due to squatting and kneeling. Since they were carried the same way I knew when they opened and my hand was not exposed to the blade.

What is a "more traditional assisted opener" ?
Yes, inquiring minds want to know?
