Does your love for knives and tools fit with your profession?

I'm a maintenance/R+D technician so I need a variety of knives every day. Luckily, in the eyes of the law, it gives me good reason to carry almost any knife I damn well please.

Suprisingly though, My daily carry is just a Spyderco UKPK on my belt and a Leatherman Wave with a Stanley knife in my bag. With the type of job I do though, I could quite easily carry any locking folder at any time as I never know when I will have to go into work.

Obviously though, all blades of any kind stay at home when I'm going to bar's etc.

Heh, no. I'm a student. But even when I'm not a student anymore, I probably won't need one. It's still nice to have for every day tasks though.

Electronics Repair Tech for a major OEM in telecom.... LM core or vnox cybertool 29 get used there, or my other electronics pliers that cost just as much as the core :jerkit: Hopefully moving upstairs to work on the software end of things in the new year. ;) Doesn't stop me from carrying a few toys at work :p

Thats sunday-thursday, spend friday/saturday as a computer tech for everyone that calls me. Usually it's either at my parent's courier company or for someone at one of our jobs. Find the inova x5 just about perfect for inside comp cases, doesn't blind you as much as the SF 6P , the cybertool 29 is just about perfect for computer work, covers most of that stuff. 3.6V screwdriver with friction fit screwdriver bits takes care of the rest of that. Probably 90% of my comp work can be done with the cybertool and good wirecutters. Have fun trying to find cleaner computer work, our shops here are all lazy bastards.

I'm a sales rep in the construction industry. I've been carrying a knife since I was 8 years old. I'm in my 50s now. Although I don't get to use one that often when working, I'm never without one.
