Does your physical appearance determine your carry?

I usually carry a very large knife or an axe of some sort. No one seems to mind because of my suit and clean cut look.

I'm always dressed in a "biker tuxedo" and always have a 4.5"-5.5" folder on me... either pocket carry or open carry on a belt worn pancake rig. My income does not depend on how others judge my appearance.

I usually dress in dingy bluejeans, a random band tshirt, and combat boots. Kbar short strapped to my hip. If I'm in company of people I trust I lock the scabbard, if not I keep it unlocked for quick access.

If I'm going somewhere I'm not allowed to carry, I wrap a flannel shirt around my waist. Hides the knife well and still gives me access to it, although I'm looking into getting some punch daggers since those are easier to hide.

At work i wear dress pants and a button up shirt, so i carry my Benchmade 530 so my pocket does not sag with a heavy knife, also it is a more friendly looking knife then say may normal edc, a 5 inch coldsteel vaquero. But still most people are shocked when i pull out the 3 inch benchmade, (I mean come on its only sharpened steel) then i get the usual questions, like why do you carry a knife, which i usually reply with my favorite Nutnfancy quote, "any man who would be a man carries a knife"

I'd happuily live in jeans and a t shirt year round if I could so I enjoy carrying pretty much whatever I want... Lately, it's been a BM Contego, 530 and a little Boker Nopal.

I'm usually clean shaven (gotta look good for work) and don't act like a horse's ass most of the time so pretty much any knife is GTG. On days where I need to dress up for meetings & such I usually just rock the BM 530 because it dissapears in pocket and is so darn lightweight for it's size.

I'll be in a tux next Saturday for a wedding.
I'll be carrying the ZT 0561 or Spyderco Kris as neither will eat up the pocket seams of the rented tux.

I'm a construction worker so I usually look a little beat up haha. But I carry 2 flippers a OTF and a assortment of balis. It sounds nuts but I work in horrible places and usually have enough pockets to carry them all. I do have a Bali coming in that would go great with a tux tho.

I firmly believe every straight man should try drag once.
