Dog Soldier 8 . . . Coming This Wednesday 11-15-2017 At 9:00pm Eastern!!!

Same here, i knew i wanted 1, just kept procrastinating lol finally got last call email, stopped waiting around and got in on 1 Comp, Tan handle (to match Hog B8), and a P Tip
Cant wait for these 2.
Didnt Res C handled blades came up 1st ahead in line in O2W Part 1 ?

So Busse literally started doing comp again with the silent knight and this one. I think this is a sign that he is listening to what people want and it is likely that this will be a regular offering.

I almost ordered a Muddy and Tan..It would match an M6 I have..And, I wanted to eventually etch and strip..love an etched logo..

Being that I could only afford one...there was no way I could pass on the Comp finish..

Its really hard not to pick Comp finish for little more $$.
I think last time i planed to strip a blade, i spent close to $40 on stripper, gloves, sand paper and few misc stuff.
Not to mention the risk of Grimlins or Brad Pits lol

We've had one report of a INFI Dog Soldier 8 ding last week, but I have not heard of a second. Don't know if that was just a fluke, or a mistake, a miscommunication, or what. Or maybe there are others that I just haven't heard about.

But if they go in order, there still should be a half a dozen knives ahead of it.

Am I allowed to say I have a Busse (sykco sold on Busse site/with infi:confused:), once I get the Dog Soldier?....and drink some of that Cool-Aid

+2

With all of the SR-101 Busse releases and all of the SYKCO and Swamp Rat blades offered in INFI, the brand distinctions matter less than ever before. I can't discriminate, they're all Busse's to me, and they're all badass.

They are all part of the family. I use Bussekin a lot when talking about my knives. If I I’m speaking on a particular one I try and use Busse, Swamprat, ScrapYard. Or Hog Dog Rat.

Honestly, the sycko DS and DS8 rank at the top of my favorite knives to ever come out of the shop, even more so since it’s not Busse brand and was made without the front talon hole. It is so comfortable. I can’t wait for my comp finish ones to arrive!

I've got a few knives larger than my DS6, and they serve a purpose......I like them well enough to not be tempted to replace them.....and I doubt I will wear them out in my lifetime.

But the longer I'm exploring the knife world, the more I prefer to buy knives I will use/carry daily more than the super cool big knife that will sit in my gun safe most of the time.

Which is where the DS6 comes in perfectly. It's right at the length edge of EDCable for me and I've always preferred the blade shape it has for the role it occupies.
