It’s one of the older spec ops 8 , with the screw. Fit is pretty good even without heating the liner.

I love it. It's so light and fluid thanks to the fuller, tang and handle (I'll be going brown in future, as this black kinda has a kitchen knife look to it IMO). Once again, CF proves to be my favorite.

Don’t know if it’s the drinks or not but the ds8 felt heavier than my b8le. Even tho it’s thinner and has a fuller. Am I crazy or anyone else feel this? This and the b8 are my only resC handles knives. The handle on ds felt a tad thicker as well. Guess I should have taken some pics before boxing it up.

I'm glad you asked. It made me take a longer look, which revealed that my kitchen scales are for sure shite and should be replaced.

The B8LE felt heavier to me at first and I thought the scale backed it up, but I just weighed them a few more times. Passed them back and forth in hand and tried to tell for sure. Can only say I still don't know which is heavier.
