I'm confused. As far as I can figure out ... you're saying you didn't give him a tracking number ... because you lost it ... so he got suspicious ... so he went to the post office and got them to return his package instead of delivering it to you? And he did that without telling you? Leaving you thinking the shipment was still on the way? Have I got it so far?

Then ... you went to the post office and asked them to return your package instead of delivering it to him. Why did you do that?

Apart from unverifiable claims, are the actual facts that we can verify something like: You didn't give him a tracking number, and also didn't deliver anything to him. He suspected that was going to happen (because you couldn't give him a tracking number), so he didn't deliver anything to you either?

It's all very confusing.... :confused:
 
Is the Post Office able to recover a package without a tracking number?

I believe the post office is always tracking the mail and packages but if you don't ask for a tracking number you yourself can't track it. I think.

I always get and give my customers tracking numbers right away when their order is shipped. no matter what.

After I sent the light to you with tracking numbers you would not respond to my e-mails and when you did you came up with " I took a nap and forgot to check my e-mail , and I lost the receipt for the knife I shipped to you."

I gave you almost 24 hours warning that if I didn't get tracking numbers I would try to have my package returned to me. The next day I went to the post office and filled out the forms to have the package returned to sender.

On Saturday afternoon 2/13/10 you sent me an email saying that you just found out I had my package returned to me so you decided to do the same. So you decided this on Saturday afternoon and your package was immediately returned to you!??!

I believe that anyone would have done the same thing that I did. You didn't respond to my e-mails and when you did it was with excuses. You never sent ANY proof that you shipped the knife and you come here and leave me bad feedback. I have my tracking numbers and the copies of the forms I filled out at the post office to get my package returned to me. Do you have any proof at all of anything you are saying??

I shipped the light out on 2/10/10 after no responses from Tactical Tanto I sent him the below e-mail on 2/11/10.

I went to the post office on Friday afternoon 2/12/10 to try and stop my package from being delivered to him almost 24 hours after warning him.

I gave him all of my contact information my cell phone and even my office phone number. Tactical Tanto never tried to contact me in any way with any proof that he had actually shipped the knife.

I did exactly everything that I said I would do and have proof of it.

Well, Tactical Tanto, guess you don't need to explain to "us guys" but you started the thread so must have had a problem with Dom of some kind.

Now it seems like you were working on a one way trade since we only have Dom's point of view.
 
I never tried to rip him off, nor did he try to rip me off. The reason I created this thread was because I was angry at the fact that he had his package returned to him without telling me. He did give a warning that he might do it. However after he did do it, he never notified me about it. He also flooded my inbox with emails, literally one email every 1 minute. We had a small problem but it has all been resolved.

BTW I have not yet received the CQC-11 it's going to take a few more days for it to arrive back in my possession.

My local post office is very small, so there is only two working clerks there that I have known for a long time, since I have always shipped from there. One of the clerks remembered when I shipped the CQC-11 to Terry. I told her I lost the tracking number but I needed to have my package immediately returned to me. I gave her Terry's address and mine so she, checks the computer (trusting me) and finds the tracking number that I bought registered there. So, I didn't need to show her the receipt with the tracking number because it gets registered in the computer when you buy it. That and I have known her for a long time so she trusts me and she remembered when I shipped the CQC-11 also. Now, I am currently waiting for it to arrive to me.

You, see Terry I told you that you would have been holding that knife if you trusted me. There was no need to flood my inbox with emails like that, and I did keep in contact with you. You, also should have notified me AFTER you had your package returned back to you. That way I would have known in advance, that you did it and I probably would have let the knife be delivered to you. I also, assured you that I am here to do solid and honest trades. I even showed you that I have 2 positive feedbacks. There was no need for this to happen, because we both would have received our items.

Since you got the package back you have the Label and the Tracking Number.

What is the Tracking Number?

At least the tracking number is there live in the system so "she" could always find it for you again and it also will be on the package when it is returned to you....

Tactical Tanto, in response to your posts Don posted his tracking that shows exactly what he was describing. For the sake of your reputation, you should probably consider doing the same.
 
It's been almost a full week now and I still haven't seen any of those tracking numbers Tactical Tanto!!!!
