, for me, it feels like criticism.
it sounds like criticism of those who either don't know that the material is natural and has been processed by hand or that one shouldn't complain because it's just variations and not a flaw .
most people given this advice know that GEC knives are handmade and that there are also variations in the materials used.
but they still have a problem with this 'variation', otherwise they wouldn't write it here.
for me, variations are for example the coloring of the handle material (but even if the two sides of the handle material differ more, GEC declares the knife as an ''S'' knife).
in the case of this bunny knife, it's an obvious and poorly executed transition to the bolster (I have my own idea of how that could have happened).
even if, ''these slippies will sometimes have these types of variance'', and I am aware that this can happen, then imho this rabbit shouldn't have hopped through quality control and i completely understand
