I was also a bit concerned about that as I had never seen the chickadees so desperate.
After the recent severe weather events and people not being able to bring them any food they were in real need of calories.
As soon as I got home I cleaned the knife with compressed air and oiled it :)

Now, here is another shot of this pesky uninvited guest that had the potential of taking off with my bunny lol , however the almond just proved irresistible :) ...so in the end it scored as well ☺️
