Don’t cage it up, let it free! (The BF22 Bunny Knife picture thread!)

Can’t say enough about this knife.

Very nice. How did you get rid of the etch, and is that patina forced? Wish mine was looking like that.
I used Flitz to remove the etch. Then I dip the blades into a Brass tarnishing solution which is made by a company named Antique Hardware. This makes an instant dark and even patina. I then rub the blade with fine steel wool which takes off much of the darkest part of the patina. Then I start using it which rubs off a lot of the patina.

I received this lovely gift from JonMcD JonMcD yesterday in the mail and then this morning on my way to work I nearly ran over this little guy… I could not help myself when he peeked out to look at the bunny.

The tortoise and the hare?

Note: I did place him much further from the road after getting the pic.

I decided to take the number off, mine its going nowhere and will never be sold,I love this one a lot.

So sat in the sun with various grades of emery paper and took my time.

I lightened the scales a bit as well.

Ive improved it a bit more since these photos.

If I can find someone to engrave it I will.

Have you any ideas for a pattern that would work on the small area available?
