And you sir are an artist!

I would say that 50% of the knives I carve with will eventually loose a tip.

When doing chores I’ll often grab my SAK because the flat head screw driver/cap lifter saves me from prying with a blade. Seems like my urge to pry is pretty strong.

My heart sunk when I looked at that knife, I can only imagine how you felt rdrogers . On another note, I can't even count how many old knives I have seen at flea markets with a snapped blade or two, it's always a bummer to see.

I too see a bargain with damaged knives. I have in the past, carefully ground the nub off and put it back to service.

I also have sent a couple case knives and a buck back to the factory and they were fixed up nice. I still have those too, so it wasn’t lost on the companies.
