I tried to reply to this earlier, but BF wouldn't let me for some reason.

If you follow the link in my OP, it is automatically set for 'friends & family' but may give you the option to switch to 'goods & services' - just don't switch. However, i am not sure if it works differently for international transactions... Andy, if you want in, just submit the entry per the OP and if it says it'll charge a fee (making the entry less than $10), don't worry about it, I've got you covered. Also, my wife and kids and I send our prayers.

BTW, late update, $640.

Unfortunately, I lead a rather busy life and am on-call 24/7 which doesn't help me get to all the chores waiting around my little plot or meet up with some other dads I know after work once a month. If anyone figures out where I live, please no surprise visits :( But drop me a line and I'd be glad to meet sometime.

And thanks again to all for participating, I'm glad this is working out so well.
 
Hi Chiral, tried following your link and no go. I think PayPal has a different setup for folks outside the US.

Ah-HAH! It's just the paypal.me! Send me an e-mail by clicking on my username, I can give you my direct address for paypal instead of using the link :) Same goes for anyone else looking to participate for whom the link doesn't work, apparently "paypal.me" isn't set-up all over :p

Ellie pointed out to me what this is up to now and I was a little shocked. I feel like I should add a little something more to this giveaway. It won't be worth much to anyone as a functional item but I'm throwing into the pot one of my original GSO-4 concept drawings. She is generally pretty adamant about me keeping my drawings but since I have the original one and another like it, that I retraced and colored, she says I can give one of them up. Chiral.Grolim is handling the giveaway so he can choose how this item will be given away. I would let the winner choose which of these drawings they would like.

Weekend Update: $730

One week left. A note - my plan was to stop accepting funds for this on Easter, March 27th, drawing to take place on March 28th - I'll do my best to have the video posted by that evening (US central time).

Given Guy's addition, I think we'll give that to name #2 on the list after the 12th randomization, if that is amenable to folks?
 
Chiral, I gotta keep giving you praise for this great idea. Very cool to see that number growing.

There is a very good chance that the winner will want the knife anyways, but maybe the winner could pick between the 2 and the runner up is stuck with whatever is left :D

That's my thought, but you should have full authority over this event. I leave the decision to your ample wisdom!
 
I am glad you could make exceptions for me to join even though I can't send my funds under the friends and family category. I appreciate the work the Seiferds put in and just wanted to be part of those who gave.
