Hopefully Ellie can fire up the 'Away' automated response to emails and they can get away from the shop for a minute. Tell Christian "You are all that is Survive! now!" Anyone who's a fan of S!K knows they're a small operation and won't begrudge a couple weeks for them to relax and get away from it all. It would probably be really, really good for them!

What a total, wow! I really like how the raffle turned out compared to an eBay sale. All of us were able to contribute, the total is really impressive and even Guy and Ellie got in on the action by offering some REALLY cool prizes.

Looking forward to the drawing tonight!!!!!

That is crazy! Seriously. We have been floored every time chiral posted an update. There are not enough words to tell you all how surprised and thankful we are. The kindness and support from this community is amazing. We are glad that we had some items to throw in to add to the giveaway, since the numbers just kept growing. A huge thank you to all of you for being so wonderful to us! Especially thank you to chiral for handling the whole thing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

As far as what to do with that ridiculous sum of money... Yesterday Guy was making fun of my "prison shiv" while I was cutting things in the kitchen. Our current kitchen knife is a new spec GSO-5.1 in CPM-20CV which would have been scrap metal. The sharper corners were hurting my hand so I wrapped it in a shop rag which is affixed by a rubber band. We figured you guys would be ok with some of the funds going toward the purchase of some kitchen knives. :D The rest will go into a honeymoon fund and we will start making some plans to get away for a bit. Again, THANK YOU!

I would think maybe you could put new kitchen knives on Guy's honeydo list-lol.
Maybe a future line of Survive! EKKO [Ellie's Kitchen Knife Original] is in order.
