Don't Be Greedy

What is that green beauty you have there? Must have details!!!!

Isn't that a bk1 brute?

I'd pick the 12. I think it is the middle ground blade in the Becker lineup that will do a little of everything well enough to get away with having just one knife. Not to big, not too small, just right.

Blade....I'm pretty sure that would be cheating. The poo poo time that is. You can't have one of those...Oh look what someone left in my truck. Just one. :)

Thrill...Go grab your danglelys and start putting that thing to work. Since when would you own a "pretty knife" You are always telling me that you wanna know it works.

Godspeed....First...OMG sexy. Second....dirty dirty trick there. So your overall pick would be the 9?

Crazy....A bunch of wicked boys around here. Bending the rules. ;)

Just one eh ? TOUGH !

How 'bout some "accessories" ? (lol)

If it was just "one", this would have to be it, the "King", the one and only ... This bad boy right here. It'll get you through the night.

I admit to being a certain amount of greedy. Still if only one then the Machax can do everything I would ever need.

It's what I made from a cam blank that I got from silver. That is all.oh yeah 1066vic helped me out by doing most of the grinding. It's some carbonv goodness. :D

If I could only keep one....man. Thats a tough one! I would lose sleep and sweat a hole bunch. BK7, BK2, BK9, BK4....one of these would make it...My tweeners are awesome, but I would let them go and use one of the many other small knives I own. I can't think about this anymore..I have a nosebleed.

Man..I love the BECKER fire steel! Thats pretty cool.

Either my customized BK7 or BK2 (not the tigerstripe one)...Working on both at the moment so no pics yet. Which ever one turns out nicer will be my pick.

but i can have them all :)

over a 30 year period, mostly, though many in the last 10ish, not too bad

While I love the BK7 and BK5 in terms of looks and handling ,if I'm going to carry 1 pound + of knife and sheath ,it's going to be a BK9 . In the case of the BK9, more actually IS more performance. And it has won me over..So, if limited to only one Becker(god help us all:rolleyes:) it would be the BK9.

Of all that I've owned, I'd have to go with the BK10. Why? When you lift the one knife ban, I can sell it and get my 9 and 15 back, but until then it covers a lot of jobs that both knives handle.

Mine would be the knife that started this madness in my life,my BK2 or Bessie as i know her.

Gotta go with my 14. I've been edc-ing it for almost a month now and it has really impressed me. I can't carry anything much bigger without drawing unwanted / unnecessary attention.

You look great in purple I must say.
If I only could have one, I'd want my Natti BK4, Bk16 would be my second choice.

Glad ya'll like the "Becker Fire Steel"

Had some extra small pieces of wood left over from the handles and a 30 pack later ... "Becker Fire Steel" (lol)

Actually pretty functional too. The front bolt goes through the steel. The whole thing unbolts and the steel (armageddon) is replaceable.

Would not recommend drilling a fire steel though  Spark city - Almost set my shop on fire

If this is just a "you can't have other knives because you can't but the world is still fine and dandy" type of situation, I think the BK16 would be my one knife pick. For the lightweight stuff I need it for, it is more than enough knife for just about most of my needs. Now if this is a SHTF type of situation and the world is coming to an end, then the BK2 is my choice, every time.

My most direct answer to the op's question would be my BK9 w/choil & jimping. Hard to make a little knife do big knife things, easier to make a big knife do small knife things.

Other answers: The BK10. Plenty of beef yet not too big, a great "all rounder."
Brute-???? Yet to be answered.
Patrol Machete-???? yet to be answered.

I am hoping to see them both in my house by Christmas of 2013. :D
