Don't hear much about Toothpicks?

hi, this is what i collect, i like this pattern, right now im trying to buy the northwood new ones in purple jig bone, orange ji, and tortoise shell ,but their hard to find.Queen makes as far as i know still makes the birdseye maple, and amber jigged bone, case makes alot of 5 1/2 ones, the latest is the dam ascus, and you can find this size in a bbubble gum handle from a known case dealer, and Bear cutlery has been putting out a few in the 5 inch size, their latest being the kodiak one with a orange jigged handle, but my favorite one that i have bought lately is the bear made one for smkw with the mammoth wooley handles and damascus blade very well made knife, thanks

my grandpa used to buy Arkanasa toothpick swords, or daggers...i'm not sure if they were swords or daggers, but which ever one he only bought Arkansas toothpick ones

I carried a medium toothpick in gradeschool and junior high ( ~1956-1961).
It was cheap model with sheet metal 'bolsters' and white celluloid scales.

I recall working on an 8th grade Christmas float, cutting cardboard with it.
The school principal saw me, smiled and said, "Someday we're gonna have to crack down." Then he laughed and walked away.

There was no knife hysteria/fear back then.
