Don't order anything if you can't pay. Better read.

I sincerely hope I'm not one of the "bad guys"....a lot of stuff has passed through my hands in the last year or so....UB - if there's anything I haven't paid for - send me the bill a.s.a.p.

For the "unpaid khuks"....you should put them up for sale and if the owner really wants it, they'll have to pay an extra $5 aggravation charge.... :D

Man, now I am going to go back and check and make sure I am not one of "bad guys" as Dan put it. I would think that if it was one of the Cantia's regulars it was more of a oversight then trying to skip out of paying. I say that hoping for the best in the regulars in the Cantina. I know that it might be a bit of a pain but a friendly reminder email or something I am sure would clear up any mistakes that were honestly made. Just a thought. I think that it should be a least a $10 aggravation fee.

Skunks can find their way under a porch in the finest neighborhood. I strongly support Yandu in this.

By God, I *refuse* to leave work and go home until it is posted... ;-) (like I can afford anything else)

Maybe we should chain ourselves to our keyboards and go on a hunger strike :p

Yep. There is always that tiny fraction of the population that just can't resist peeing in the punch bowl and wrecking it for the rest. :grumpy:

I don't know how people who do that kind of stuff can face themselves in the mirror. I mean, do they look in the mirror and grin and say to themselves, "Man, you are the MAN! You just got yourself a Khuk for free! You are the bomb!"

Makes me want to shove one of those Khuk scabbards up their kazoos.

I was wondering why I hadn't yet gotten the most recent khuks I ordered. Was starting to wonder if the order got fouled up somehow or lost in the mail.

Maybe we should see if we can get Yangdu and Uncle Bill to post the names publicly of those who ripped them off.

No, I don't think that's it at all. Some people are chronic procrastinators. I have one friend that actually got his phone turned off because he kept putting off calling the phone company and having his phone service changed off of the "limited local calls" plan. He had got a computer and of course was being charged out the *ss for being on the web. He knew this and put it off till his phone was cut off. This same person also burned up the engines in 2 cars because he kept putting off changing the oil, or even adding oil.

One of his kids flunked out of school because even though they did well on the tests they kept putting off homework and projects associated with the classes.

I think it's some sort of ADD or something.

They've tried chaining me and all it did was get me more UBBB's, and as for the hunger strike...it wouldn't hurt either of us! :D

Uncle Bill put up a Bura 16.5 WW2 on a deal, and when it came it was an 18" instead. I vascillated about 10 days before sending payment, but that was a matter of changing my minds* a dozen times a day. Wasn't what I wanted but too good to send back.

Used to, UB had 2 deadbeats, and happened to be passing thru the area of one. Found out he'd died about the time.

*maybe a freudian slip, but on reflection multiple minds/personalities fighting it out in my head sounds like a reasonable explanation. Then again, the jackass theory also explains a lot about me.

Say what you do....and do what you say. A simple little rule that too many arseholes never learn.

I say post their names here or in the "Good, Bad, and Ugly" forum so everyone will know what jerks they are.

I dont even want to get started or even be considered in that "happy group" :barf:

UB see email--ignore the first one--unless u know something I dont.

Id rather see that UB will get his cash regardless--even if it "hurts" at a particular time than knowingly be a subject in this thread.

Uncle Bill Martino has enuf problems--lets make life easier for him and everyone at HI--after all he loved us enuf to start the cantina--HR :D

Hmm, I to am checking my records, luckily I don't think it is possible for paypal to get through late (though recent problems with an account limit thing may be an issue).

UB, I hope I am not in that catagory, if I am let me know and the dosh will be with you in no time flat!

I am truly distressed to hear this Uncle Bill. I have always been amazed that you have not been plagued by these type of deadbeats before. Your kindness and honesty should be rewarded, NOT abused! I do not blame you for making things harder for people to rip you off. Many peoples lives count on HI sales! All of the members of the HI team in Nepal and America need those dollars and a scumbag that would INTENTIONALLY rob you and Yangdu this way is stealing from a whole community! :grumpy:
I will keep PayPaling you whenever we make a deal. That way I will keep off the bad list. ;) I have felt honored that you have treated me as well as you have, Uncle and Yangdu. I will always do my part to live up to your great treatment, and trust. I am sure all of the regulars feel the same way also!!

Speaking of which...got anything handy to sell to us? ;-)

I have always paid by check, and mailed it as soon as I placed an order. I figured that if there were any sort of problem in shipment, or an error, HIMI would make it good....
And I was right.

I knew that I could trust Uncle Bill - and so I never wanted to make Yangdu and Bill wait for payment.

I assumed that they would prefer checks rather than credit cards. I hope that I am right about this.

Good issue.

Uncle Bill, assuming you either wait for them to clear or ship on receipt only to "established customers," would you prefer checks to PayPal?

Tom

I just did this, but I asked permission first.
Is that ok or does that qualify me as a heel?
I will try to send payment now if you need me to.
Sorry if I caused any inconvenience. :footinmou

whew....UB says I'm not on the bad guy list....at least not today...:D

I'm sorry to hear that, Bill. I've bought two khuks from you so far and one from Yangdu, and in each case they were shipped immediately. I'd send a note from work to let you know I'd PayPal you the money that night, and I'd have an email when I got home saying that the khuk was already in the mail. I appreciate the trust you and Yangdu have, and it's a shame that it's being abused.
