Don't read this if you hate suspense!

that looks great hoopster 0_0 i like it, :D :D :D but i think it is a tad more economical to go full kydex, i still like my hoopster sheaths for my izula :D

Thanks Hoopster, that's a nice review..

This sheath was originally designed to work with bigger blades, but as it turns out works on almost every model.

This RTAK II sheath isn't much thicker then the Izula sheath..

Your welcome, I knew it was pushing the design limits for that sheath style with the Izula but just wanted the best for the little knife. You pulled it off flawlessly.

Great work! I'm so pleased with my sheath from Martin, I knew he would take care of you!

Hey hoopster, could I see a better shot of your Izula? It looks like you've stripped the blade only?? I have been toying with the idea of stripping my Izula and this looks like the best of both worlds. How did you do it?

I wish I could get a better shot but my photography skills are lacking and with the shiny blade I had trouble. You can still see some of the machining marks because I didn't use enough of the rougher grit sandpaper when I first started sanding but it's still very smooth and shiny enough to see yourself in.

Start by hanging it from the pinky ring and use just about any good paint stripper brushed on in a downward motion. It took two applications for me to make sure I got all the coating, then the sanding starts. I'd start around 100 to 150 grit and go up to somewhere around 1500 grit or wherever you prefer. Maybe in 3 or 4 steps minimum (for example, 150, 400, 1500).

i really love the look of martins sheaths and how you really get the best of both worlds with them, i hope in the future i have the pleasure of owning one

These are all truly beautiful! I can't stop staring! Great job Martin! Hoop you're lucky man! That is gorgeous! And I agree Caleb! I'd want to get one for my Izzie, RC3, and others in the future! All in good time I guess, and if Martin would want to do such larger volume orders :) quality work though can't be rushed! And I'll save and wait for this also :P

My Mrs' sees it as if I have little things to keep me busy and saving for them, it helps me focus on school and such. I moved back home with parents for a little while till I finish school off, and she works at her dads law office, a bit N, so being apart, excluding some weekends when we can find time right now to? Having things to save for or to get, keeps me well occupied.

Tell your wife, simply. Makes you happy. lol. Unless its something ungodly expensive and un-needed/necessary. Which this is not. Its reasonable and beautiful. Functional. And worth every penny! :) Just like the ESEE Knives.
