I wonder if they'll bring any of "their" knives, let alone sell them.

What's so good, or bad, about these guys?
Seems the interest has worn down, but there were some very 'controvercial' topics about these guys a couple months back. Over-the top advertising with graphically violent content, no-shows at knife shows, 'borrowed' designs, etc.

Okay..............

After reading all of this, I'm glad there wasn't a chance of my buying these knives.

QS is too nice a fellow to give you the real answer about the "good" part: they provide us with virtually inexhaustable source of laughter, what more could we ask for ? They do it on their own time and money (!) too.

The "bad" part is kinda obvious: since comedy is extremely hard to market successfully in the manner Dork Ops has chosen (through knife magazines, knife shows and a website focusing on something that is sadly not very interesting for vast majority of the population - yep, knives, you guessed it) their money is bound to run out soon which means no more fun for us freeloaders.

:D

Ten characters...

Just tried to get on their site, nothing. Nothing at all, guess they weren't as good as they made out to be, huh?

It's either supposed to look like ultra-cool light amplification for stealth operations -- or a bunch of zombie re-animated corpses.

Considering the company's rep at this point, go with the second explanation.

"You mean the re-animated de-animated?

Sorry, couldn't resist."

yes, Danzz, you see the reantimation of the deanimated previously animated "corpses" is best explained through countless hours of college level physics classes and of course reading Frankenstein.

If by doing this you come to understand the infinitely complicated process of reanimation you will understand the mindset of the Dark-Ops knives company.

hope ive helped. :p

Also Dark Ops is listed on the Blade Show site as one of the Blade Show Banquet Sponsors.

I was sharing the info that they are gonna be at BLADE so everyone who's going there can check them out and tell them what a bunch of con artists they are.

Obsession?
As long as these guys continue to publish stupid ads, I will continue to make fun of them. I just think that mall ninja crap is hilarious. And the more newbies get to read threads like this one, the less people are going to buy their knives (if they ever start selling them). Fun and "buyer beware" - does that sound like an obsession to you?
