This one has sold. Thank you.

Whenever I need a challenge, I crank out a double-edge. The last one I sold was a canvas that I bead-blasted and it went to Afghanistan on the side of one of our boys. This one is my Model X with India Stag handles. Sorry about the prices on my stag blades, but stag prices are ridiculous. If anyone knows of good prices anywhere, PLEASE share!
Specs-
Model: X
Serial: 008
Handles: India Stag
Steel: 3/16" X 1 1/4" 440-C Stainless Steel, Rc 57-59
Blade length: 4 1/4"
Overall length: 8 3/8"
Weight: 6.9 oz.
Lanyard
Custom-fitted leather sheath included.
Will ship anywhere in the USA for $185.

Thanks,
Eddie

Why apologize for the price. It looks like it is well worth what you are asking or even more...Craftmanship comes with a price...Keep up the good work..

Yeah, Lora keeps saying something about me still living in the 70's with my pricing and all, but I truly try to keep costs down so any damn body can afford a nice blade.

Thanks all!

Nice Knife!

Here is a question for you, How do you contour the pin so that it is even with the grooves in the stag, without sanding down the stag to the point that it is smooth? I cant wrap my head around it.

derkins, 30 years of working around a grinder, you learn a thing or two. i just can't describe it, i guess you'd need to see me do it, but I do it on a grinder-- sometimes I surprise myself! Yeah, everyone just RAVES about making the pins fit the handle material. it's cool.
Thanks all.
Eddie (cough, weeze)

uh oh!! I could be in trouble with this one!! That is freakin' sweeeet!! Very wicked blade there Eddie. :D

aggie- you better be pulled over for the nite, Lora says. safety before pleasure. say the word man and it'll be home waitin' for ya.

Derkins- that made me laugh til i started coughing again (sicker than a ol' tickdog)...anyway...you know, I angle the pin into the edge of the grinder, just ease it in. Also, your tools are the most important thing...get a Burr King if you don't have one already. I also think i could try it with a Dremel.

Anyone out there got the stag snag? Still lookin' for great prices. Thanks!

hmmmm....kind of a "baby Smatchet". Neat little knife. I was looking at some stag at a show this past weekend. Decent carvers and rolls topped at a $45 and nice scales were about the same. You aren't even making the standard 3 times materials cost on that thing with handle, my man. So as a newbie, i have to charge like $5 for my knives.......You're KILLING me with this $100 Makers Choice thing......DUDE!!!!!! CHARGE MORE MONEY so i won't feel bad about asing $75-100 for a hunter!!!!!! lol
