Double-row bearings - anyone know where to get them?

I wanted to follow up here and thank Hank for his efforts, his generosity and his outright kindness. He fulfilled an amazing gesture, out of the kindness of his heart, for someone he's never met and who lives far from him. I'm really blown away with this gesture. Hank purchased these MRBS disks based on a request for him to maybe offer some for sale via BF. Instead he bought them and shipped them from his home in China, to me in the US, all at his expense and on his personal time. -- Hank, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this...and PLEASE let me know if there is some way I can return the favor. Most appreciatively, Gregg ("Scrim" here on BF)

Hey Scrim, have you installed any of the MRBS disk on your knives? I am very curious to know how this turned out. Just wondering if they made the action smoother or did it stay the same? Also very kind of Hank to send them to you. that's an amazing gesture and says a lot about the kind of person he is.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

It won't make action smoother.

Not smoother but nice replacement parts to have on hand. Even with Thorburns, I don't feel like MRBS is actually smoother than SRBS. Both are great & equally smooth when done right. I assume if I ever had to pry with a Thorburn, And I can't imagine that scenario, I'd have a bit greater lateral force effectiveness before failure with MRBS. The ones Hank generously sent are the same plastic disk/mrbs used on many Chinese made knives, Kevin John knives, Dicoria, etc...and those machined in China like CKF and others.
