I got mine 4 months ago or so, new at knifeworks, and it was not numbered. They offer engraving and I wish I would have gotten something engraved. I was just not sure how much I was going to like the knife.

Mine was numbered - #413. Wonder why yours was not?

I rarely get my knives engraved. I have a couple of Custom Bucks that are engraved and a couple of less expensive knives from KW, but probably 90% of mine are not engraved. Kinda limits your options later on. I don't buy and sell, but you never know what might come up that could cause you to need to sell off . Still - I thought about getting this one engraved, too.

I know the claim that with all plugs in makes it balance neutral. I took all of the plugs out. It balances on my finger just about at the first screw, but it feels more neutral in my hand than with the plugs in. It feels to me that it is handle heavy with the plugs in.

I do not know why. I have large fat hands, and it just feels that way to me. I like mine with the plugs out.

That is one of the nice things about that knife - you can adjust the weights to your preference, whatever that might be. Cool concept.
