Dozier blades

No hits ? I usually use Infoseek or Northern Light, and with Northern Light searching for 'knives AND dozier' I got about 140 hits in 80 places.

Bob's website is on the Knifemakers Guild site along with several other guild members' sites. Just go to http://www.kmg.org and look for Dozier knives. Take care.

He may have changed the sheath for the Toothpick by now......but I don't carry the one I have had for a couple of years because the sheath does not suit me. Said it before, but I have never had a horizontal carry system which did not protrude conspicuosly and/or uncomfortably.
Maybe it is my shape......
I love the knife and ,if it wasn't such a nuisance shipping the thing across oceans and continents, I would get Bob to make me a less pretentious rig.
Now, his Professional Guide is different.....no complaints at all.

Both Linda and Bob are very nice and very polite. The bummer though is that I ordered a folder from him last December, I was told it would take two months, then I was told it would take four months, and I still have not received it! I spoke with him two months ago and one month ago about this. He explained that he only works on folders on the weekends and that fixed blades are his main thing. He keeps telling me "probably one more month." He is always nice and he did not charge me a deposit but this is really taking way too long. I'll probably give him another month then cancel.

I've been looking at Dozier's blades for a while. I can't remember any negative comments about him or his knives. The general consensous seems to be that his knives (and sheaths) are superb values for the money. I've finally been overcome - I ordered a NY Special from AG Russell's site today. Should have it in about a week.

Senator-congratulations! I looked at the NY Special today, it seems to be the Arkansas Toothpick without the round inlay. I could not find it listed on Bob's site. Is this correct, or are they different?

The NY Special has pointier guards, and is shorter I think. Smaller in general. Has pinky hook which Ark Toothpick does not. No lanyard hole.
