the sheath is very, very secure. nice feel in the hand, and lots 'o heft. also, dozier's are some of the best priced customs I've ever seen...get one. or two. or a dozen.

I have to add my praise of Dozier's work.

He makes some of the best D2 knives out there and his Kydex work is second to none

All this for the best prices

A good buy whichever way you look at it.

I changed the pic above to my new knife, I had a wood scaled one but found that the wood moved with the weather and drove me crazy, I called Bob up and they said to send it in for them to look over. From when I used to make knives I had some scales of Rag Micarta left and sent those along for him to use, he ended up putting those scales on another blade and this is the final results. The Rag Micarta is so insteresting! The patterns within are amazing and you just stare at the weave from it, take a peek;

Very nice indeed, Gary. Don't think I've ever seen micarta like that. That one's a keeper!

I just made a trade for a Pro Guide with a Checkered handle does Bob do checkering ? Or is it someone else did? It is some of the best checkering I have seen.

Brian, take a look at this close up scan of the other side of the handle, warn you it's pretty big file, but is it ever cool!

My daughter said she could see a Dragon in there, many things hide in the pattern....

Jeez, that IS cool! I thought the canvas micarta on mine was nice, but yours is way beyond that description. Don't let go of that one, but if you do, you know who to call!

Gary, take another look at your pic. I think you spelled Bob's name wrong.

Beautiful micarta, btw.

I get some pleasure from finding a relentlessly peaceful use for a combative looking knife.

I just recieved the Pro Guide with the Checkering and I must say it is very nice.
I have had a few of Bob's knives and this Pro Guide is my favorite of his line of knives. Thanks Nakano for the info on the checkering
