DP Knives-Outdoorsman

Do you have any of his blades Ilbruche?

Because your going to get to play with the Outdoorsman and the Backpacker since your making the sheaths for them when they are ready:D

Sounds good. I'm ready. Just bought more leather the other day. :D

Sorry no pics as the ones getting leather have not been made yet. We will have to wait a few weeks for that. Here are the ones I have on hand right now.

Bear he did just that when his orders are done in a week or so he will have bought 6 knives from me. Thank you much Tonym

awesome looks on those. I tend to work thinner blades myself, but those look like perfect perfect grinds for the steel.

I hear you on the blade thickness Koyote and the truth is the edge on the Outdoorsman never failed to slice thin slices of salame, cheese, lemons or whittle wood after all the abusive batoning. It felt like a much thinner knife with extra heft for the baton. I only have three other knives at 3/16" thick that slice like a laser and they are the RAT RC-4, Breeden 5-inch Pathfinder and Fowler Stone Mountain. All Flat ground

Very nice review, Bear'.
You are a very bad influence on me.
'Been to Doug's site.
'See stuff I like.

I like these from his website. Dough had some small neck knife type knives on his site but it looks like they have been removed.
I don't know what kind of wood this is but its nice.

Bear did you mean the ones I called the utilities? I have 2 of them to heat treat and they will be posted next week.

Bear here are some pictures of the modified handles on this knife. I took it and rounded the handles and thinned them out just a bit. I dont know how it is possible but I think it got much nicer looking. enjoy the new shots. Doug

Great review. It just makes me that much more excited to get the custom Outdoorsman I ordered from Doug. Very easy guy to deal with.
