DPMS vs Rock River

I bought my Colt Comp HBAR when i had my FFL in the early 90's, right before the ban.

20" flat top 1 in 9 twist with trigger job.

I plan to get a 16" evenually, I love the Colt, but for the price I plan to go with a RR this time. I don't like the M4 barrel... prefer the HBAR.

I think he will get more bang for the buck with a Rock River CAR A4. The Rock River comes with a front sight while the DPMS does not. I have the RR CAR A4 and she is a sweet weapon.

I own several ARs and have owned most of the brands in my time. DPMS is a fine weapon... but it's not Rock River. They make the tightest fitting well machined ARs I've seen in a while.
