If anyone has any questions, concerns or queries regarding their orders please post them here and we will go through them one by one on Monday.

The issues seem to be:

1) Multiple Orders

2) Non-Confirmation of Order

3) Lack of Internet Access or Away from Computer

We have about 20 left but my guess is that there is going to be attrition when we sort out a few multiple orders, generate payment requests or deconflict any errors in initial order.

So if you think you might have ordered too many just post your name and the number/model and we will double check so we can release the numbers to the list

If you did not get a confirmation but you reserved a knife we wil check and post on this forum

If you wanted/want a knife reserved then please post what you want and I will have the order placed on your behalf but you must have a working email for the payment process (we will accept a wide variety of payment methods both electronic and analog)

Hopefully we will get the numbers released so that other may request them.

thanks again for orders and watch the DPxGear site as your products are made!

RYP,

I was under the impression that payment would be due when the knife was

actually steel, titanium, and G10 instead of concept art.....

Is this incorrect?

Would it be possible to post a secondary confirmation email listing number, sterile or Mr DP and leftie or rightie?

The original confirmation was just for # and I'm just paranoid that in my rush to get the number I wanted I got other bits wrong.

Cheers

2 questions.
1: Any chance of a combo-edge version?
2: Is the blade coated or bare? If bare, what type of finish?

danke!

The D2 Tool Steel folder comes with a solid titanium alloy frame, Rotoblock adjustment, removable glass breaker, a U.S. made Afghan Campaign colored woven lanyard along with a unique and collectible Mr DP adjustment and multi tool. RYP,

I think I have multiple orders and I only want one.

Numbers: 19, 24, 26 and 71 all left hand, not sure if sterile or Mr Dp versions

I would like to keep #19 if available

Thanks,

JW

Completely agree. Was a bit surprised to see we are going to have payment due before steel exists. I'd like to see shots of the real deal before laying out the $250.

And before anyone says that I should have known better, go back and look at was was actually stated.

I have only 2 questions: (1) when do we have to pay for the knife, and (2) can you please confirm that I ordered number 70? Thanks.

Maybe send a confirmation email to all those who have a reserved knife. That would probably cut down on some of the questions. Now, is #240 going to Canada? thanks.

personally I'll feel A LOT better when i CAN pay for it in advance.
ready for my email to pay now!:D

just to KNOW I've got mine all locked up!

this whole process was about trusting RYP and ESEE anyway -- for me.

RYP,

I somehow ended up with 3, but only want one. Please release #2 and #100 for sale to others. I will keep #3.

My apologies,

Chris

PS. Another BF member pm'ed me. It seems that he has #3 reserved in his name. If so, I will keep #2.

Holy S what a CF :D

The process isn't that hard - prepay, which I think the SR1 customers with Lionsteel had to do, no big - order what you want, click on the link in your email/junk mail to confirm it :D

The site doesnt allow for number selection. I asume this means all 250 are reserved?
If miraculously a number gets open, i'll want one.

ANy chance to get on the list for a rigth hand sterile once the multiples are weeded out?

Reservations are full. We will do some weeding and confirming on Monday.

As for payment estimate. You are going to see manufacturing prototypes in September. You will not only see the finished prototype but be kept abreast of the manufacturing process. In my opinion you are going to know more about this knife than you know about your spouse :))

After the prototype has been approved by Jeff, Mike and myself and fully reviewed here and by customers. We will then send request for payments. Those that fall by the wayside will find their spots quickly taken so it is not our goal to force you to buy this knife. We know there are enough people to appreciate a short run, high end folder.

Once we are absolutely happy with the production prototypes and LionSteel is ready to roll we will notify you that we are ready for payment.

The limited edition first run knives are all being made to order so we expect to have the custom orders by early December. And please keep in mind none of these knives are leaving our hands until they are inspected, accompanied with a signed certificate and warrantied for life.

just to repeat. You have a reservation on a Limited Edition, First Run knife. We are not going to offer or make more than 250 of the Mr DP pattern or Sterile. It is going to be made to your specifications and will have a signed certificate made out to you.

You are locked in at the pre-agreed price but we have no problem if someone gets cold feet or wants out. We already have a waiting list for this knife and for December we are only making as many knives as the dealers have pre-ordered. I don't think you can get a fairer deal than that.

There will be regular run knives at the dealers around the same time but they will not be made to order or have Black G10, or offered in MR DP patterns or in sterile. They will be every bit as good but not that magical first run, all the extras version. The blade is coated on the limited edition version. We reserve the right to add goodies to the regular run as well :)

Hope that helps.

If an available slot becomes available, I am interested in it. A right hand version with MR DP pattern is what I am looking for.

I've got two reserved on the regular run...please add goodies:D

Seriously, I can't wait for this beauty to hit the shelves....with some goodies ;)
