Mods, if you don't feel comfortable with this thread for whatever reason please feel free to delete or lock it.

Has anyone actually received their money back yet? All I've gotten are vague answers that they would do so but nothing concrete.

I'm not trying to start a shitstorm again. This is just for guys who actually bought and requested a refund. So please try to stay on topic so that we don't get the thread locked. I'm trying to determine how to proceed.

I have asked for a specific hard date for the refund but have yet to get one. They told me they would refer it to the people who handle that aspect and that I should hear something by the end of the week.

I am going to send them another e mail today and will proceed with whatever legal options I have if I do not get something concrete back from them by the end of the day.

Again, I'm just trying to determine if anyone has actually received their money back as opposed to a promise to do so. I can't see why it would be so difficult to initiate a charge back to a credit card. But then again I'm not in retail so. . .
 
BP Green. If you have a specific question about your return feel free to contact me directly or customerservice@dpxgear.com. As always we are happy to refund money and we fully understand that posting on a forum vs actually contacting the company about your concern is your right but we do not monitor sales from here.

Processing began yesterday and depending on your card company it should show up according to their notification agreements.

If you haven't returned your knife (there are three people) we will process it as soon as it shows.

We have one problem with one return because the person's email has changed so we will call him. If that is you. Contact us. Three people will be sent checks to so they will see their funds when USPS delivers.

Three on this thread so far, not counting MORIMOTOM and UTD-SEAL and the dozen others that have posted returns.

Do the new customers getting these returned knives know they are used?
 
Got mine yesterday as well.

EDIT: I got mine via Paypal so the time frame may be different than others.
 
We don't sell used knives as new.

Most simply had a number and had ordered a custom knife. No one has received production knives. They chose not to take delivery so its being sold to another waiting customers.

The very few LE knives that were returned will be used for pass arounds, promos or by me on my trips.

i sent mine on saturday.

don't know if i will be refunded via paypal or another method.

have not been contacted yet.

Update: I received an e-mail from Paypal this afternoon notifying me that a refund had been initiated. The money isn't actually in the account yet but I would imagine it'll probably be there by tomorrow.
