It looks more and more like my 'upgrade' from my Byrd FRN Robin 2 is the Dragonfly 2. Similar size, a lot lighter, and a better blade.

The problem I'm having is deciding whether I should go with the orange or the black.

The black with conceal a lot better, but that's not that big of issue because when I'm at work I don't want it to be seen (unless I need it) so I will be keeping it in my pocket, the black is about $7 cheaper, and the black probably looks a little classier.

As far as the orange, my favorite color is orange...but the orange is a bit more expensive and from the pictures I can't tell if the orange makes the knife look "cheap" or "cool."

So, what do you think: Black or Orange?

Thanks.

Go with the orange, you won't regret it. The color is very vibrant and stands out among other knives.

Yeah—orange. But if you can afford it and find one, consider the HAP40 Sprint in Burnt Orange. :D

Orange. Its awesome. You can always Rit Dye it black if you change your mind.

Orange...

If you ever really feel the need to carry a black knife, you still got the Byrd, and your Cryo.

The dragonfly is one of the few designs that can pull off that orange without looking tacky - so orange.

Spend the few extra bucks and get the orange. You'll always be able to find the black ones available. But that might not be the case with the orange... Something to consider.

I have the black, orange, and green versions. Green is my favorite but in a black vs. orange battle it would be a tough call. The orange Dragonfly is a lot lighter in shade than most of my other orange knives which tend more toward burnt orange so it's a bit too fluorescent for my taste. That being said I'm kind of bored of black scales especially on a small knife that might be easily misplaced.

Black. The handle is small enough it will hide in your hand; any sheeple that are freaked out by knives will be freaked out regardless. Besides, the lighter colors will look dirty in fairly short order, where the black should stay looking relatively new for a long time.
