Dragonfly 2: Black or Orange?

I'm almost "Anything but black." Black is sooo common and boring! I bought the FFG Delica in every color except black! BTW: I am that way with fountain pens, too.
 
To be honest, I won't buy a knife with a black handle. I've seen enough in photos, lol. With that being said, I voted orange, though I'll admit it wouldn't be my first choice. Ha.

Orange

I work in an environment that requires me to wear orange hi-visibility clothing and equipment , so an orange knife doesn't look out of place and in a funny way makes it less visible and more tool like to non knife people .

Bright colors do make a big difference in certain scenarios (reactions), however, the Dragonfly is so small I doubt many would even notice it. There's nothing threatening about it really. Great points though, no doubt.
 
I'm votin' black 'cause everyone else is votin' orange, put a reflective orange lanyard on it. ;)
 
Dude, if you're not happy with the color of the orange, you can easily sell it here. Hell, I'll buy it from you! So it's risk free, brother. And I am SERIOUS - if you buy from an Authorized Dealer (PM me if you'd like to know my favorite), and you don't like it, I will buy it from you for what you paid. Only conditions are that it hasn't been used, and you'll pay for USPS Priority shipping.

I have both. The only solid reason to pick orange is if you use the knife a lot outdoors. The color would make it easier to locate should you drop it or misplace it. Of course if you're the type of person who likes to be the center of attention, you would probably choose the orange. Black is low key and doesn't grab attention. It's there for use, not for show. I can't remember ever carrying the orange model more than a couple of times but the black model is a frequent flier in my pocket.
 
I have an orange Delica and voted orange. You can get tons of black knives but the orange FRN is really fantastic. I'm Dutch though and biased towards orange...
 
Orange is a more industrial looking color, but this one is way too neon. I voted black because I am not a fan of carrying around colors that vibrant. If it was a more burnt orange then maybe. Orange also looks friendlier, guess that's good for a knife?
 
If the Dragonfly has a backspacer that can be swapped like the Delica I say get both. These photos are a true rendition of the Orange color - Very vibrant.





 
I have an orange Mini Ritter Grip. It makes for a nice change from the usual boring black.
