Hi all,

I LOVE larger knives, but try to be discreet when I'm in the office.

I had soem money to blow today so I picked up a dragonfly with white FRN handle. What a neat little knife. I'm in love with the leaf blade and it fills my handle nicely when I use the choil.

Anyway, another great knife from spyderco.

I think the Dragonfly is an exceptional knife. It does just about anything you can ask of a small folder and it feels great in the hand. It goes everywhere with me. I would like an upgrade to G10. I think a larger version Delica or Caly size would be terrific.

You're in luck. ;) The G-10 version is already in the works.:D

oh man! G-10??? I'm all over that.

Although, to be honest, i've gotten away from g-10 for some of my EDC. I find that it tears up my armani slacks....(quote from emerson explanation card in my emerson wave endura)...;)

But seriously, g-10 eats up my slacks, but the FRN is just fine with me.

I'll probably get a g-10 DF though...:)

The Dragonfly is often overlooked! You have a Good-One, there, Brett! ;)

thanks Rolf. I'm really digging it. I'm at work today...:(, and have been using it to cut open letters, open some boxes, etc.

It's just a great little blade.

Thanks Yablanowitz. Glad to hear it will be available in G10. I love the G10 that Spyderco does. Best in the business along with the knives they make. Oh, I am showing my partiality to Spyderco.

The Dragonfly is hard to beat in a smaller knife! The only one I've tried and like better is my Spur. I wish Spyderco would came out with an FRN foilage green Dragonfly!

It's a Spyderco classic, and it fits great in the little watch/change pocket in jeans.

I wonder if any has taken the clip off? I just can't see myself using the clip at all.

well, I just took the clip off with my dremel and I LOVE it even more. Now it rides slimmer than any other small knife I own. I'm gonna have to buy one of the g-10 versions for sure!

well, with all the Dragonfly love going on here, i'm glad i chose it over the Tenacious...

besides, i love dragonflies anyway. they are your best friend when you're sitting in a boat out on a lake, because they eat horseflies, black flies, deer flies and mosquitoes. two summers ago i had one land on me with a deer fly in its mouth, and i got to watch it eat the whole thing. well, it spit out the wings. :p i lost the pics somehow, but here's where it went down: Killarney Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada.

Yeah, good point lvbuckeye27! I sure like and appreciate both and thanks for the beautiful scenery!

I love the Dragonfly, its just too small for my paws. I had a SE FRN, PE FRN and a PE SS Dragonfly. The SS PE version was a great knife, but even with the leather lanyard from the previous owner, it was too small. Why do I have to be a big handed bastard ;).

Not like I was going to buy it, but I saw a William Henry Kestrel over the weekend, great little knife, but too small for me.

I shook your hand before and you DO have big ole' mits. The dragonfly would be like a pinky finger for you...;)

wow, that's a beautiful knife!

my Dragonfly arrived yesterday, and i must say, it's quite a little cutter! great knife!

What do you guys think of the dragonfly's pocket clip and is there steel liners? I'm considering getting one.

I have two, aus8 serated black frn, and vg10 plain edge SS patterned. Both are great even though the steel handled is substantially heavier, different blade length too. Between the two dragoflies, a red bone kiwi, and a plain edge cricket, that is pretty much my work EDC rotation. am just gunna havta get more dragoflies.
