Dragonfly.....NICE!

What do you guys think of the dragonfly's pocket clip and is there steel liners? I'm considering getting one.

I have an AUS8/FRN model. It has the integral clip made from FRN that simply extends from the handle. Normally, I don't like FRN integral clips but in this case it works great since the knife is so small. The SS models come with a nice SS clip and they work fine. No liners in the FRN model and I don't think it needs them.

Wonderful small knife. It goes with me everywhere in my Maxpedition Versipack (manly man purse).

+1.

the integrated clip is very sturdy. there are no liners, and it doesn't need them. lockup is rock solid and there is zero blade play.

it's not going to replace any others in my EDC rotation, but that's because it doesn't have to. it just goes in my pocket along with whatever else i'm carrying. it's perfect for the watch/change pocket in jeans. it's small enough that you practically forget it's there, yet it cuts like a knife that is much larger. the ergos are great for someone with medium sized hands. when i hold it with my finger in the choil, the butt end presses quite nicely into my palm.

I've been crying my dragonfly for several days now and I LOVE IT.

I did dremel the clip off and it lies so FLAT in my pocket now. I barely know it's there until I need. I'll need to get another to put in the safe now...:)

that rarely happens with me. Only the knives I TRULY love have a safe queen twin.

Take care,
brett

Dragonfly is a very good design. One of my favorite knives. I have 2 frn, one steel, one all black steel, one carbon fiber all plain edge. It used to be my flying knife back when things were more civil. I originally bought an FRN one for my son and he didn't like it. I wound up giving him a small Buck and took the dragonfly. My favorite knife is the original Calypso Jr. and the dragonfly is like a smaller version. I carried my original one today. What about a green G-10 version with a steel upgrade??
