Coins are so handy. I've often made washers out of them. Sometimes I could buy the washer cheaper at a hardware but I could never drive to the hardware store cheaper. Plus it's just plain faster to drill a coin than drive to the store.

Picked-up this drawknife (my first!) at an estate sale today. Is anyone familiar with the maker's mark? [a steer/bull??] [update: I've since learned it's Ochsenkopf - thanks!!]

Many of the woodworking tools in the sale appeared to be 1970s/80s Craftsman-esque stuff, so I wasn't hoping for a rarity or anything...just curious who made this - and psyched to learn how to use it!
