This is my first created forum. I honestly don't know if this SAK exists. I figured the great people here would be able to find it being I can't seem to. I am looking for a SAK with a knife blade, wood saw, scissors, bottle opener, can opener, and a cork screw(can be eliminated) the scales would come with tweezers and a toothpick. Does such a model exist if so what is it? Also feel free to post your dream SAK and maybe others could help you find that elusive model.

That is a nice one and for me has about 90% of what I am looking for. Is that your perfect SAK or just one that that you find too good to pass up for the price?

It's the first real SAK that I've ever put my own money towards. I was looking for a good knife combo to carry at work and a Delica+SAK combo was recommended, and this was the best looking SAK I have seen in a long time

I'd love to have an Alox handled Tinker with toothpick and tweezers like on the plastic handled models.

I doubt that will happen anytime soon. With Alox you lose the toothpick and tweezers as well as the underside tools like the corkscrew or parcel hook. Alox looks nice and all but you lose too much for that. I've always had the plastic handle, my present Explorer plus has a pen and a pin besides the usual. I know alot of people like alox but for all you lose I think it's way overrated.

Wow I didn't know that tool even existed. That's pretty cool. I'll look into these as well. I am also hoping for it to be relatively thin so I don't think the Swiss champs etc are going to work. However that link is awesome.

Why do they remove those items in Alox models it cant be that hard to add a spot for them in the scales.

Another vote for the Huntsman, it seems to have the best combination of tools without being too bulky. I do like the awl on the alox models a lot more, but toothpick and tweezers are more useful to me, plus the awl on the Huntsman isn't too bad.

Thank k to everyone for their help. The Huntsman II seems to be exactly what I was looking for and it's less than $30. This forum is awesome.

Wenger Professional 4 layer, alox/elinox not needed but preferred.
Main blade, cap lifter, saw, awl, sacking needle, pruner blade

I would even be content with plastic scaled or a new alox run...
These were made back in the 70's for 4 years or so and I haven't been able to find one (in Any condition) for the last 3-4 years of looking.

I've never seen or heard of one of those. I'll keep an eye out. I frequent the flea markets in my area.

Have you owned one? They're superior IMO but let's take a look at what you lose.

The parcel hook. No need to explain why this isn't missed. ;)
The corkscrew. If you drink enough wine to need it get a dedicated key with an assist.
The tweezers. Sak tweezers are really pretty awful IMO. I find them unusable.
The toothpick. Hands down the grossest of them all. Carve a branch, clean your teeth, and toss said branch. No bacteria! :)

The alox is a lot more durable then cellidor. By a lot. The awl is in the correct position and the tools overall are a bit more robust. They also have a better feel to them IMO. I will never buy the cellidor saks anymore. YMMV

Yes, Huntsman is the SAK that You need (with the mentioned tools), if You need it in bigger size check the Outrider. Also I think somewhere on the market still available brother of the Huntsman from Venger - evo S18, interesting alternative with locking features for main blade and bottle/can openers.
Oh, and my dream SAK is the Victorinox Swisschamp Alox :D

Actually I haved owned alox and yes it's pretty but not enough to give up all those tools. It's obvious a metal scale would be more rugged than a cellidor scale but what are you doing that you'd break the cellidor. I once had a cellidor scale get loose and fall off, just glued it back on. I still don't know what I did to cause that, but it was a simple fix and lasted another 2 years + before it got lost.
The Parcel hook- if you ever had paint cans that had the handles replaced with wire, handy
The Corkscrew- besides opening wine, is great for undoing knots in shoes, scratching a mark on wood or metal and that's the most likely uses
The Tweezers- I've pulled a lot of slivers out of my hand with them and handy in grabbing really small hobby nuts and bolts when a magnet isn't handy
The Toothpick-Never used on my teeth, works in reset holes of various electronics .

If you prefer alox, knock yourself out, it is pretty. Apparently you haven't owned a cellidor.

The plastic scales are mounted over metal liners. The scales have grooves for toothpick/tweezers and the liners form the rear of the scabbards for those accessories. The Alox scales are structural, eliminating the need for separate liners, which is why Alox models are thinner for the same number of layers. Making places for pick/tweezers in Alox models would be tricky to do due to lack of liners.

Thanks for that Bill, been carrying SAK's for over 30 years and always wondered that myself
