Dreaming of Sprint models, what's your dream made of?

That hAs already been discussed quite a bit, the general consensus is that the cost of a solid Ti Para2 would be close to or over what a Sebenza currently costs. If they don't sell, then Spyderco will be stuck with a pile of knives that won't move. Also heat treating the blades to custom level hardness would create a drastic increase in price. The knives Jim uses most have a custom heat treat, far and above what could be obtained by regular commercial means. At least that is what I recall reading.

I'm down for a Military in S110V though.
 
I'd like a superblue endura sporting royal blue G10 scales....but modded to offer choils like on the caracara2!

Get me a Delica version of this and my Meadowlark may finally get retired. Choils and SB: Good stuff.

The closest you'll get is if you can get a SB Caly 3.5, rit dye it to color.
 
Well since I've had my Southard a whole month (maybe not a full one) I say a
Southard in CPM-M4 or S90v with CF.
Honestly the cts-204p has been a dream and has maintained a hair popping edge while being used daily.
I just give it a quick strop each night.
I only say M4 because its my favorite steel and I love a nice patina
 
I've got two dream sprints.

Fluted Titanium Manix 2 with blade of S90V or Elmax and titanium ball enclosure.

Nishijin Handled Paramilitary with Super Blue or H1 blade. Bonus points for titanium clip.
 
Zdp189 caly Jr with a decent looking green g10 or green micarta. Brown would be my second choice. If I am really dreaming I would change the steel to m390. I was too young to get a caly Jr when they were in production. Might have to get a second market one someday.
 
I'd like some colors on the Yojimbo 2
Steel doesn't really matter to me if the cost stays down
But a blue or dark green scaled Yojimbo would be alright with me :)
 
I picked my Endura jigged bone up the other day. All I can say is that it has the WOW factor associated with it. It is very beautiful and eye catching. No EDC use. This will be staying at home polished and fondled!

Good luck with getting yours. I recently obtained the Delica maroon with Mother of Pearl inlays, that is a sweet looking blade too. Those two blades set me back a bit!!
 
My "realistic" dream Sprint would be a clipless Kopa. Preferably with easily replaceable (glued, rather than pinned) scales as I can think if at least a dozen scale materials that would look great.

My "absolute" dream would be a Stretch in Odin's Eye Damasteel with a dent-free lockbar, smooth stainless steel front bolsters, ivory scales, and no provision for clip mounting. However, I know the only way I'll ever see one of those is if I can find someone willing and able to transform a CF Stretch into one for me.

And I would love it if you Permanently introduce some new Tenacious models like one with Yellow g10 h1 steel
White g10 polished blade like a gents knife

My sprint run requests are

Starmate 2012 with a flat grind;

Endura 4 with G10 scales.

VG10, ZDP189 are fine on either one. Because sprint runs usually have different steels, S35VN is fine too.

Paul, I am with you on this one, as well as quite a few more people. Make the blade 2mm thick and I will be even happier.
Here my dreams:

1. Native5 smooth G10: dark green, orange, dark blue, brown canvas micarta. FFG to .010" behind the edge XHP, B75P, S90V, 204P. Plus bolstered variant with Damascus like Caly3 and Aged Honey Amber Stag Bone scales.
2. Bolstered Damascus (2 mm stock, if possible) Caly3 smooth bone or burl desert ironwood scales.
3. Goddard PE, micarta, original grind, full size, Jr., and baby VG10 will be fine.
4. Smooth dark green G10 ATR.
5. CF (like on Dodo) Adventura.
6. LeafStorm with desert ironwood inlay.
 
Sprint of a sprint?
For instance, nce a PM2 with m390 is made, has spyderco ever released the same knife/blade with different scales?
Just wondering if that means a PM2 with CF and m390 would never happen?

I would be very happy with blue twill/CF caly 3 with m390 or 204p (something not laminated)
 
I'd like to see a Schemp Rock in 3V ,with perhaps a different scale material.:) Also some sprints with Mammoth bark .

Chokwe Salt: serrated H1, yellow G10

Or a Chokwe in one of the super steels with a nice scale.
