Dreaming of Sprint models, what's your dream made of?

Sprint of a sprint?
For instance, nce a PM2 with m390 is made, has spyderco ever released the same knife/blade with different scales?
Just wondering if that means a PM2 with CF and m390 would never happen?

I would be very happy with blue twill/CF caly 3 with m390 or 204p (something not laminated)
Yes, they've released Sprint runs of a knife in a given steel more than once, each with a different handle colors/materials. I can't speak to the likelyhood of a CF/M390 PM2 but, based on past performance, it's certainly possible.

WOW you guys have a LOT of ideas, pretty cool, that'll make a real nice dry erase board listing on the wall at Spyderco Central to contemplate this year!

I'm a little dismayed at the lack of any mention of the Resilience or Tenacious, I recently picked up the black suited Tenacious and it seems a little more refined in it's makeup, the blade seems better overal and the edge arrived very evenly beveled from side to side, which does show up more when the rest of the blade is black ;)

Keep up the good posting guys/gals, and I'd recommend if you haven't given the Resilience a try yet, maybe due to it being so moderately price might keep people from trying it, you might be surprised at just how nice a knife it is.

and of course...HAPPY NEW YEAR to all !!!

A spyderco centofante 4 with carbon fiber or titanium handle. A carbon fiber handle with the silver bug would look great.

I wouldn't mind if they made a centofante 4 with G10 and steel liners. I don't like FRN.

Even better would be to change it to a liner lock or compression lock like the vesuvius.

Para-II in Lime-Green G10 and D2 Steel (uncoated blade/hardware)

Possibly a waved Para-2

Axis-Lock Sage Series (we are dreaming here :D )

Flipper the size of a Sage (could be exactly Sage Series sized).

A new Native 5 in special G10 or Carbon Fiber and some exotic steel (CF/S90V would be very nice).

Any of the value series non-Byrd knives with a choil.

Rerelease of the Kris.

Also a sprint of the PPT with titanium liners and spacer with gray G10 in 20CP.

Para2 with blue/gray G10 (like was on the Stretch FRN handle a couple years ago... LOVE that dusky blue/gray color!), black deep carry wire clip and a DLC coated in CPM S110V (but frankly I'd take it in just about any premium steel they offered it in!). :)

Para 2 with liner or Ti RIL lock and any of the super steels.

Military sprint, 3v would be nice :D

Barong2 with a shortened ricasso. Imagine it in super blue, a nice patina on that blade parallels well with its ethnic counterparts that I've seen. Earthtone brown G10 may be the ticket, gray would also be nice. Or how about bring the production to Taiwan and open up even more options.

Sun burst ti native 5 near perfect.

But please for the love of god add a swedge please

One factor might be that Sal has mentioned more than a few times that Spyderco's Chinese maker(s) don't have the equipment needed to work with the more exotic steels. High(er) end versions of those knives might also, to some extent, go against their intended place in the lineup. It may also increase the perception that knives made in China are taking away market share from knives made in more "friendly" countries.

Thanks, I guess there's always a back story to everything, in the mean time, putting that Resilience through some paces, as well as the Tenacious and both cut very well for at least my EDC chores, cutting boxes, straps, packing material, it all comes apart beneath either of these two blades ;)

As several others have stated, it would be grand to see the Stretch offered in Super Blue. Handle material wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, however I am particularly fond of FRN and its cost given the performance and weight. Don't give up on the Stretch Sal it's got an excellent blade profile. I really enjoy my ZDP-189 Stretch, but would love to own one that sported a patina.

1) Paramilitary 2 m390 with titanium scales

2) Pacific Salt with titanium scales (Please, can we get H1 with titanium scales? :) )

3) Lava with titanium scales or koa wood scales

4) Captain in blue g10 scales

Delica and Endura in various colors and ZDP-189.

Gayle Bradley in Southard-type Earth Brown scales.
