Drop Point, S30V and G10

Do you have any more designs you can show me? Add about another 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch more to the blade, flat grind it, cut back the kydex a little, add a tec-lok, BAM you got it.

This sounds like a good design, I can do one of these, send me an email and we can talk about details.

hey cmd,

I'd be interested in one for that price too. Im with miketm, flat or scandi grind would be great. It would be much less work without the change in bevel angles for you too..
email me please.

Kind of interesting, WILLIAM.M has my first G10 handled knife and Zingzong2005 has my last.

I'm fairly certain now that my first folders will be based on this design, with a lot of the enhancements folks have offered in this thread incorperated into it.

How many did you make??

Just those two, yours and zinzong2005's. Originally I was not going to use G10 on the second one but found a piece hidden behind some stuff on my bench and decided to go ahead and use it.

G10 gives off powdered glass when being worked which is some really nasty stuff to get in your lungs, definitely not kid-safe. Other than that it is a wonderful material. If I had a dedicated shop I would use it often.
