Good point I just don't want to make the same knife everyone else makes that's what I mention by boring

I think a better term is simple, not to be confused with easy. A well made simple knife looks way better than a poorly made fancy knife.

Exactly. Attention to detail and try to master one step at a time. I still haven't graduated to bolsters yet after almost 2 years of knife making.

Yeah that would be a better term. It's definitely NOT easy. I have alot of respect for the guys that make it look easy and produce beautiful knives.
