Dying micarta HELP! **SOLVED!!**

Sand and soak for a while usually works for me. It doesn't take the dye as well as wood, so you'll have to leave it for a while.
 
Well, this is the result after about a 3 hour bath!

Looks a lot darker irl and now has a pretty neat look to it imho.

It looks like I found the best and easiest solution by using leather dye on the scales.

One coat and it looks perfect to me and won't run off or bleed!

It's not shiny irl and looks like grivory now but, with the micarta texture!

How has this worked out for you now that you have had it for awhile? Any of the color come off?
