I actually took 15 knives with me, but only kept one of each model on the table at a time.

Whitty, Kevin, Josh and myself were hanging around outside... and who walks up? Ken Onion. I was playing with my new ZT knife and he came over and asked me what I thought about it. That sparked a 2 hour convo about all kinds of crap. It was fun times. Ken is a great dude. I chatted with him several times throughout the weekend and he was always nothing but nice.

In the afternoon on Saturday, a funny, laid back Ethan Becker strolled over to sign a book for me. I had asked him on Thursday to do it if he had time at some point during the weekend. He signed my book and then began perusing the Flethcer Knives on the table. He picked all of them up, but he seemed to have a serious problem putting the Pocket Kilo back down. ;) He asked me if I had sheaths for them and I said, "well check out this one I made for my personal knife." and handed him my Kilo with a kydex sheath. He played with it for a minute and said, "How much is this?" I told him and he said, "I have to have this. This knife screems to me that I have to buy it. It's just a great knife!" Luckily I was quick enough to snap a shot of the transaction. This pictures goin' up on the website.:D Later on throughout the night, Ethan would stop me and introduce to someone new while handing my knife to them. I was very happy that my knife had made such an impression on him and that he liked it so much. Ethan is a cool dude and I had a great time hanging out with him in the pit and outside.

You ... sold a knife ... to Ethan Becker.

You've got a future in knife-making.

[Must've taken a late shot of Andy's side of the table ... I don't see my machete there!;)]

Nice job making a sale to Ethan. Your blades do look nice, I will have to try and pick one up sometime.

awesome news about your success's at blade! I will be owning more FK's in the future!

Awesome pictures! Having such a well known knife maker purchase one of your blades is a great testimony to the quality of your work! Congrats!!!

Andy at the table. Terrill Hoffman stopped by to chit chat on the regular. Heluva nice guy and he DEFINITELY knows his stuff.

That's not Terrill cracker, that's Tim Stetzer.;)

And Ethan said he just bought one of your knives out of pitty, he said he felt bad cause you so ugly.

Kinda pissed that you gave so much press to the fact that Ethan took one home but didn't even mention that I did...... Two even.

Your knives seriously impressed the hell out of me. Really good work for someone doing it for a long time let alone a few short months. You have a serious talent my friend and I see good things in your future.

That's awesome Dylan. To go to Blade as a fan is one thing, but to go as a maker is something else.

The more I hear about Ethan Becker the more I want to meet him myself... great story!

Sincerely bro, thanks for sharing that, and always good luck to you in the future.
