AND MIKE BECKETT BOUGHT A DELTA FOXTROT. THANKS MIKE!

I gave the Hatchula to you guys so that doesn't count... well gave it to Katie anyways. You just get to watch her use it. HAHAHA!

actually I bought it but the Mr is going to use it. If you investigate the funds came from MY pay pal. ;).

Oh and I won that knife fair and square!

Sounds like you had an awesome weekend, with a story of a lifetime to take with you! Congratulations! Your stuff looks fantastic.

Dude, I want a Delta foxtrot. I'm not asking for trade secrets, but how do you make them? Do you have them cut out of plate steel?

Dyl, I'd like like to see your spin off of some some classic styles like these beauts from JK Handmade knives. I've just really been impressed with your knives, more so than a lot of makers who have been in the business for a lot longer. Your knives are very atttractive and appealing in a sense that they look really good, but I wouldn't mind putting them to hard use. They're not flashy, but just have a nice overall look. Keep it up.

Basically a mid sized bushcraft/woods blade with a 4-5" blade.

Something more compact with a 3 1/2" blade or so.

Dylan, as I said on another thread it was great to hang with you. I also have my Ken picture that I will post some day. I am going to have to pick up one of your blades as well. Keep up the good work

You're right! Katie gets all the kudos! hahahaha! I'm sure that Mike forced you to buy it cause he just couldn't live without it though, so I'll give him half the credit.

I start with flat bars and use the stock removal method. I do everything from start to finish including the heat treat. That way I know every single one gets done just the way I like it. :D

I've thought several times about busting out some of the classic designs and just putting my own stank on it, but I haven't picked out what I want to do yet. There are a lot of makers out there that have their versions of classic designs like the Nessmuck and other such well known goodies, and that almost steers me away from it just because I really like having my own flair.

There are a couple of "old world" designs that I want to do, such as adapting the gladius style blade to a functional and carry-friendly fighter, stuff like that. I have very strange ideas on how to bend that seriously old school stuff into modern and functional blades, but we'll just have to see how it goes. In the next batch of knives I do, I'm going to "test drive" a couple of designs and see how they work out, if they need to be tweaked, or if they're just not a good idea and need to be scrapped. We'll see how it goes.

Thank you very much for all the compliments guys! I really appreciate it and can't tell everyone how stoked I am by how well my knives have been received.

Great pictures ! I may have to pick up a Delta Foxtrot ,Good looking Knife Brother

Tony, I really wish you could have come to the show brother. I'll probably be coming to the next camping trip you guys do though. I still owe you many beers.

Do we need to delve into where the money came from that was in said PayPal account?:p

I saw the first photo of your spread, and while I've known that a Delta foxtrot was going on my short list from day one, when I saw the Kilo I got veeeeery interested. As for ethan buying one...yea.... I'd have crapped myself.

Is anyone implying here that Ethan knows anything about decent knives. Surely you're all just kidding! :D
