I've thought several times about busting out some of the classic designs and just putting my own stank on it, but I haven't picked out what I want to do yet. There are a lot of makers out there that have their versions of classic designs like the Nessmuck and other such well known goodies, and that almost steers me away from it just because I really like having my own flair.
There are a couple of "old world" designs that I want to do, such as adapting the gladius style blade to a functional and carry-friendly fighter, stuff like that. I have very strange ideas on how to bend that seriously old school stuff into modern and functional blades, but we'll just have to see how it goes. In the next batch of knives I do, I'm going to "test drive" a couple of designs and see how they work out, if they need to be tweaked, or if they're just not a good idea and need to be scrapped. We'll see how it goes.
You have an exceptional untained line as it is, I think it's cool that these three basic models are so exclusive and that you put so much time in the development. I wouldn't water that down a whole lot, so don't feel rushed to throw new designs out there.
