I said nothing about ebay sellers being bums. The ones selling counterfeits I would avoid. They're lots of custom makers and dealers that sell their wares on this site. They pay a much higher membership fee to be able to do that. Pointing potential buyers towards ebay seems counterproductive to the success of the web-site. The economy is tight with very little discretionary spending going on. If a seller also sells on ebay, they could mention that on their profile page. I've purchased items from the ebay seller that you mentioned. I never promoted him on this site. This is my opinion and I'm sure some would disagree.
I also praised the Kershaw Company for execellent CS,the KershawGuy for execellent service.
I also bought two knives and a flashlight from a dealer at a local gunshow who is execellent but I don't think he sponsers here so I won't mention his name.
