Feel your pain
Needle. I won an E-Bay auction several weeks ago and the seller requested payment via a USPS money order, which was in the mail the next day. He told me that he'd let me know when the moolah arrived and package shipped. Cool deal. . .hell, I want the transaction to go smoothly and I didnt want the seller feeling that I was stiffing him. A week or so later, after no e-mail from the seller, I sent an e-mail inquiring about the arrival of the money order and status of the shipment. Two days later, still no word. Fired off another e-mail. I gave him two more days and fired off another e-mail, asking about the arrival of the money order and shipping status. Again, no response. Two days later, I sent an e-mail telling him that I was going to the Post Office to begin a trace on the money order. . .I think that I also mentioned something about mail fraud in the e-mail.

I knew that he had received the money order. . .boy, delivery confirmation is such a cool thing. . .and evidently overlooked on the envelop, by the seller. Guess it struck a nerve and received an e-mail from the seller stating that he had received the money order four days after I had sent it

, that he had gotten busy and dropped the ball

.
I wanted to send a reply along the lines of "Cry Me A River" - - don't make your problems my problem ! His response also stated that the package was going out today, using UPS 3-day. Easy to respond to. . ."cool, send me the tracking #."
There are some good eggs (sellers) on E-Bay. . .and there are some bad ones, for sure! Unfortunately. . .the E-Bay feedback system can be slightly misleading. Simply, some buyers fear negative retaliation from sellers and refuse to report the "negative" aspects of their experience with a seller.
Hope that all works out for you and your Mom,
Needle !
