You mean like a true, true EDC?

Well...these...:)

The knives are never exactly the same...

I rotate about a dozen different blades depending on situation. Sometimes up to 4 a day.

The small world of knife enthusiasts, a place where having 50+ knives simply to play with is not considered strange at all! How many of you weirdos have a knife that you actually carry EVERY DAY? (my most carried knives are about 1/10 days)
I carry both a Victorinox Alox Cadet and Alox Mini Champ in my pockets every day. I've had the Cadet for about 3 years and it has been in a pocket nearly every day since. The Mini Champ is on my key ring.

Anything else I may carry is in addition to those two.

Delica 4 is my Edc hell I just ran the half marathon in San Diego with it in my pocket. Except for rare occasion that I need my lestherman wave, I carry my delica every day. I too have 20 knives that I use occasionally but delica is edc. Frustrates me reading posts like "I have a different edc knife every day"

Not really a true EDC. I rotate mine. I love all of my collection too much to just stick with one!

Like everyone else, I rotate and replace many knives.
Still, I have a Case Mako, stag handle, that I have carried for over 30 yrs.
A Schrade LB8, over 20yrs. Will probably carry these till I die.

Oh, I carry a knife every day... just not the same one.

Depends sometimes on what I'm doing. Sometimes depends on what I'm wearing. Sometimes depends on what is on the back counter on my way out the door, or what's in the jockey box of my pickup at the time.

But there's not one knife that dominates my pockets by virtue of it being "my edc"...

Before I decided to carry a kershaw zing, I bought, sold, and switched between many different knives trying to look for the "perfect edc". I grew tired of that and forced myself to stay with only the zing, and it worked well for my needs. However, the teflon bushing inside recently got chewed up, so now I'm back to researching whats new andtrying out knives every few days or so. Currently, the winner is the benchmade 531.

The only knife that is always with me is a Micra. Everything else can change from day to day or week to week.
