Easy As 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 GAW!

You're welcome, John; I'm glad they arrived safely, and I hope they serve you well! :):thumbsup:

That was a fun contest. I would suggest you carry a cold steel special forces shovel in your trunk, or cab. It's too utilitarian to question, and has the potential to do real work, like digging, and chopping, and has the added benefit of being a legit scary weapon if necessary. I carry one in my 4×4, as well as a square nosed shovel of bigger size.

Gary I am happy to enter your GAW but even more happy that we are friends. Four years is a long time around here I've been a member here just over 3 years and have saw a lot of people come and go. I'll guess you have 127 knives.
I think everyone should keep a Buck 119 Sheath Knife in their car.

Just wanted to say "Thank You" again to 5K Qs 5K Qs - I just received the SAKs - and they are awesome!!!

The Spartan looks amazing in hardwood - and the Cadet and Pocket PAL are a perfect size for EDC/pocket/keychain carry.

You're welcome. Thanks for letting me know they arrived safely, Benson X Benson X , and I'm glad you're happy with them!:thumbsup: (Of course the true test comes after you get 'em out of the packages! ;))

I hope to see you hanging around the traditional subforum occasionally. :) BTW, what's the geometric design in your avatar??

Hahaha, touché GT - I was pretty excited to open the package and taking a pic was my first response. I did break out the Spartan today; what an awesome tool! It literally has the best of the SAK tools (that I use) in one classy and timeless package. It's one of those blades I wish I had passed down to me as a kid, so I could already have some wear and memories to go with it. All in due time! :)

My avatar is a heptagram design that my brother drew for a band we used to play in together (Frozen In Light). Without getting TOO esoteric, the name is in reference to the Bose-Einstein Condensate while the design is an homage to the number "7", which has it's own important place in science, religion, mathematics and mysticism. There are multiple "7s" within the design, as well as a lightning bolt in the center, which could be (3) 7s in sequence and also pseudo-reference to our family name (Lightner).

It sounds pretty nerdy when I explain it, but I've always liked the design and symbolism and personal attachment behind it.
