Eating Human.....

At what point in a absolute survival situation would have to be to think about eating your buddies,....

I only ask becasue I recently to to work on medical cadavers(sp). I took away so much about the human body that day, but one side effect of getting to learn so much is that now when I see a quick fry steak I think of the serratus anterior, I haven't been eating meat for a while anyway but now it almost make me sick to think of eating human, but if it meant I could see my kids again...:D

(I just really wanted to post a Eating human post....sorry guys....)

just having fun..

i'd eat someone if i had to. hell i might even do it just because i didn't feel like fishing (in one of those stuck on a island situations)

heat up 2 large cast iron skillets over coals until they are hot. Drop in a good dollop of bacon fat swish around and in the first pan add chopped onions, salt, black pepper, and a bit of chopped celery. Next, take your cubed cuts of long pig backstrap and thigh and sear in the second cast iron pan. Combine the two pans and stir, until the long pig is cooked thru all the way. Serve on a plank of cedar with fresh seaweed and kelp for salad.

4 out of 5 Cannibals agree; The best meat on a human is the Buttocks of a young girl or the hands of a Warrior!:D

This thread is way over the top!!
Ever see Fried Green Tomato's, A Boy and His Dog
Could I?
It would have to be fresh Killed:D. I don't think I could Just eat someone that was dead by the side of the Road. I would be worried about what killed them:barf:.

Cooked up right you would never know.

I was thinking, you might want to eat your dog last. The issue of trust was raised earlier. I trust my dog a lot more than I trust most people. She'll let me know when somebody is trying to sneak up on me and take my meat. Just sayin'.

This whole thread could be summed up by :eek::barf::foot::(

But rare is the American who has ever seen a dead person. Oh, yeah, funerals. But there the person is really chemically stabilized tissue covered in an opaque coating of petroleum-derived makeup.

Strange side note. I just realized I've seen a pretty good amount of dead people in my life and only one of them was actually at a funeral. I'm always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Let me ask you this..... would you ever consider cutting of one of your own body parts and eating it to stay alive?..... eh, eh ..... eh?

"Never see your kids again?" or... "BBQ'd toes, fresh of your left foot."

That would be plain dumb, you'd die from a nasty infection. Better to stay hungry than being rotting like a zombie.

Yes it would be.... but that's not the point...... well I guess there is no point really.... lets leave it at dumb.;)

But a quick question, first...
Why would you get an infection? From the amputation area. Probable?, yes... Certain?, no.

Rick

They say you are what you eat . . . .

. . . but I don't feel like a large Italian with everything on it.

I wouldnt do it

humans are so diseased and full of parasites ...

I dont travel by boat , and I dont fly , if Im going somewhere , Im walking or driving myself

It would be a shameful thing indeed if I couldnt find wild food or game to eat where ever I was . Could I really consider myself Australian , if I didnt know how to live in the country of my ancestors ? Biggest issue here wouldnt be food , but water I suspect :)

If I was incarcerated in a concerntration camp of some knid .. not a far stretch of the imagination given the way the govt here and its flexible approach to legislation

I think Id still not eat human ...
